Restaurant Hotel Café Joseph
The project "Hotel-Restaurant" Joseph comprises the architectural and thermal renovation of the Wilhelminian style building with the aim of creating a regional flagship company that includes a combined restaurant and hotel operation. The protection and preservation of the listed plane tree in the guest garden was a central part of the project.

LIKE GRANDMA MADE
Our grandparents did a lot of things right, in the kitchen and outside of it: don't waste anything, buy locally, not always meat and if so, then regionally and from livestock that is kept in a way that is appropriate for the animals.
Do not make a cult out of the food, but still appreciate the table as the social center of family and friends! Cooking with heart and mind - eating with a clear conscience!
With JOSEPH we want to go back to where grandma has long been.

THE PEOPLE AT JOSEPH
Where the emperor visited the Bruckneudorf military camp on horseback, there was a splendid plane tree on the edge of the Leitha, in the center of the town then and now. It gave shade to Emperor Franz-Joseph and his followers. According to legend, his Sissi only accompanied him to the tranquil Bruckneudorf because of the enchanting tree.
The times of the emperor may have passed, but the imposing and now monumental protected plane tree still characterizes the historical street and shadows the Franz-Joseph's statue.
Under this centuries-old source of energy and shade, the historic school building at Lagerstraße 2 has now been dusted off and a contemporary, lively atmosphere has been created there in the restaurant-hotel-café JOSEPH.
